I am using this with a Koyzard TA-450 vacuum pump.The filter itself works very well. I was unable to see any visible mist escaping from it during several minutes of continuous use.The kozyard TA rotary vane line designed for 4.5cfm or lower (and maybe the 5cfm one as well, if you're willing to work a little outside the rating of this filter) is compatible. you don't thread it on, you press-fit the spout of the exhaust cap into the inner diameter of the filter's threaded opening. It's a little odd but it's a pretty good fit and it appears that the pump's exhaust cap was designed to fit in this way.The one flaw is that when installed on that particular pump, there is no way to create a good seal. because the cap press fits into the filter and not vice versa, a small amount of recollected oil tends to leak around the unsealed edge, and gets all over the top of the pump instead of draining back inside it. It's possible some combination of adapters could do this without leaking, but I don't have a bunch of spare adapters to experiment with.I do have to question the price though. This filter costs twice as much as the vacuum pump I bought it for. I've gotten on fine without it for 2 years, the only reason I bought it is because I have an upcoming project for which I have no choice but to operate the pump indoors. The only reason I didn't buy one ages ago is because of the price. I bet sales would be a lot better if this could be priced at $75. I have no idea if that's possible though.
