Well thought out easy to use vacuum sealer. Must have for freezing food, helps to avoid freezer burn.

I love the fact that you can have a large or small roll inserted into the machine. It's easy to use and I love that it clamps shut and you aren't fiddling with it to open it up. Works quickly and is relatively quiet in comparison to others I've had. So far, I'm very happy with it.

Works as advertised. Used it to seal ground beef portions for freezer. Seals tight. Sealing bags are strong and easy to cut to size.

Easy enough to operate. Make sure to lift the cutter cradle and pull the bar under it in order to cut the bag from the roll; that wasn't made clear and if you don't do it the cutter can't slide over the bag.If you try to seal anything that produces juice, such as wet seafood like crab sections, the fluid creeps to the sealer heating element and messes up the seal. It either won't seal at all, or will seal with tiny areas that weren't sealed. This allows the vacuum to break, and the fluid can leak out. Discovered this after wasting ten bags trying to re-do it. If you must seal something that produces a little bit of fluid, you can try adding 4 inches from the food to the edge (make a longer bag), sometimes that can get you a clean seal. But if any fluid makes it to the sealer heating strip, forget it. But for sealing dryer things, it works really great.

I bought this as a replacement to my Bonsenkitch, which didn't last 6 months...This is a very important item in my house as I freeze food daily and buy in bulk and portion out. So I need a reliable sealer. This new one is really good, it took me a moment to figure out how to operate it. I've used it and it seals really well, I think much better than my old one. One issue i had, is based on how it's designed and the way up pull and seal the bags it can lead to a lot of waste of bags ends. I have to adjust bag to make it smaller so there's no waste. I don't really like this part of the design. Other than that the main function works great

I've only used this product once since I received it, but it seems to be much better than the one I'm replacing with it. I packaged some baked potatoes for freezing. Having a roll of bags stored in the unit made it very convenient to use. The cutter bar holds the bag in place for sealing the bottom of the bag and the bag easily rolls out to the desired length and makes a straight cut with no effort at all.The unit is about twice as thick as its replacement, so in order to easily seal a filled bag without excess length, I had to place something in front of the unit to reduce the angle between the bag contents and the suction chamber. A piece of 2x4 worked fine.This unit is a bit louder than the old one, but does a quicker, better job. I really like the positivity of using the handle to close the unit onto the bag, and the control buttons are easy to see and use. The sealed bags are completely air free, and I expect the food to be well protected in the freezer. At this point I would recommend this unit to any buyer as I don't anticipate any problems with this product.

I've been using Food Saver brand machines since they came out in the 80's. I haven't been a fan of the newer models so I've been buying used ones for years. This machine actually made me throw away my old machine. The suction power is good. It's quieter than the food saver and makes no noise when sealing. I like the way the bag cutter works, and is easy to operate. This machine sucks the air out of the bag and while holding the sucked bag, it seals it and then the lights go out to indicate it is complete. I tried my Tilia Food Saver mason jar sealer attachments and while it didn't work using the Tilia hose, it did work using the hose that came with the machine. I'm happy with this purchase and hopefully it will last as long as the food savers have lasted me.Update 2025- item has finally disappointed me. It will not longer suck the air and automatically seal. I have to manually push the top down really hard and hit the seal button which does allow some air to go back into the bag. I got almost 3 years from it so I'm going to say it was still worth the purchase.
