While this kit did the trick of repairing the sunroof operation in my E36, it's missing one key part that needs to be removed from the old parts and then pressed or punched into the new parts. The two parts in the picture that are circled in red need to be secured to each other with a pin, but that pin is not included in the kit. The pin is a press fit and needs to be punched out from the old parts and then pressed into the two new parts. Not a really big deal but there is potential for breaking or damaging the new parts if not careful. There are other kits available that have these two pins included, one for each side, but they still need to be pressed into the new pieces.
