2” fnpt id as advertised. 3-1/16 inch hole needed, I drilled 3 inch hole (because I didn’t have a larger sized bit) then used a file to make hole wider so was perfect fit through the hole. I used a common 2” PVC m-npt threaded adapter, fit inside perfectly.

Most bulk head fittings have two rubber gaskets this one only uses one. So far so good just an observation. Also no way to know if it’s is on for portable water
