This tool takes the guesswork out of how tight the valve stems should be. One tool for each tool box.

Its a shame the shipping got screwed up. Glad it finally made it and I have already used it.

I used the torque tool to replace a broken valve core on a new bike tire inner tube about a week ago. Tube has held about 60 PSI for several days with no signs of leaking through the valve, torque tool appears to work well, nice positive click when torque preset is reached. I'm content with the tool overall.

These valve core tools are better and easier to use than most of the valve core tools I've acquired over the years. The machine of the shanks leaves some room for improvement, but they do work as advertised. I've never before seen a torque-limiting tool for valve core installation, all of my older tools have a rigid 1-piece handle. These tools are set at the high end of the torque range, but as other reviewers have noted they are adjustable if you remove the handle end cap. Nice tools.

Having assembled three bikes in 2023, and modifying the bikes I still have, I've had need for valve core wrenches a few times. I do have an odd metal valve cap that has a wrench nub on it, and for tight spaces it works great. But, since it's a metal cap with a crossbar and a nub on top, you don't get much control as you tighten or loosen a Schrader valve core. These wrenches do that in spades. So long as you've got the space, using these wrenches makes smoothly loosening and tightening valve cores a cinch. As to the review title mention of spotty quality... These are basically cheap screwdrivers that, instead of being formed to a common driving tip, has a slot cut into the tip that engages the valve cores. First off, one of the tools I received has the slot cut WAY OFF center. I worried when I received the tool that it would not work, that's how bad it is.I worked as a machinist for about seven years, so I must point out that the surface finish on these tools is atrocious. Mind, this has no effect on the tools' functionality, but I feel it's worth a mention.Yet, despite my nitpicks both of these tools have worked fine the times I've used them, and my father finds them quite handy as well.If you wrench on bicycles, or work anything that has a Schrader valve on it, these tools will be a serious boon if you need to work on said valve often.
