The only negative things I have to say about this is that the pour spout is up too high. If the pan is filled with 14qts of oil, you have to slowly tip it to drain or it'll just spill over the top. It either needs a plastic shield on the front or the spout needs to start at the bottom of the pan and taper up to the top. Otherwise it's a very well made pan and if you're only draining maybe 6 quarts, you'd likely not have much problem.

For the past 10 years or so I've been stubbornly using a 6 quart drain pan that is flimsy, with no pour indention for easy pouring, basically as basic as a drain pan can be. Upon receiving this large drain pan I instantly felt I had been making things hard on myself for years lol. As can be seen in the photos this drain pan features a really nice pour spot that is wide enough to have a moderate volume of fluid travelling through it but also a brim that encompasses the entire pan to prevent spill over from sloshing back and fourth and incase to much of a pour angle is attempted. I managed to pour 5 quarts of oil back into a oil jug in under 30 seconds using this drain pans pour spout. It is thick enough to not be easily bent or folded under the weight of it being full of liquid. It is deep to unlike some and since the entire pan is open there wasn't any splash back when draining oil out of my car. Lids are nice but I've found that the ones with lids cause fluid to splash everywhere. I really like this drain pans size and pour spout as well as the handle on the side. Certainly a good recommendation from me if you're looking to replace or upgrade your current drain pan or as your first one.

Nice robust drain pain. Construction is super strong and rigid. This drain pan isn’t going to feel unstable or like it’s going to fold up on you when it full of oil.The opening for collecting oil is what I would consider to be similar in size to other oil pans of similar design. The drain spout works well. The handles are sturdy and placed in similar locations to other pans of like design.Large 17qt capacity. It’s not stated in the description but based I the recycling designation this oil drain pan is likely made from high-density polyethylene.ValvoMax products are made in the USA.Overall a nice robust oil pan at a reasonable price. While this drain pan may be a on the higher end of pricing, it is well worth it due to its superior construction.

This is what I needed, my old 5 quart pans weren’t cutting it anymore. This one is large, handles the bigger 7-8 quart jobs.

When you got those messy oil changes, coolant drains, transmission or diff fluid changes, I usually make a mess. Got this pan because first of all it's capacity, will hold pretty much anything without overflowing. It's also very big, will catch more tan one steam at once. And finally, discovered how easy it is to drain, it's got a great designed spout, no spills! No doubt, the best pan I have now, recommended wholeheartedly.

I use this for changing the oil in my zero turn mowers. In the past trying to use one of my regular shaped oil drain pans has been frustrating and messy. The design of this pan made the oil change effortless and I didn’t spill one drop of oil. It’s big enough to hold the oil from your average riding mower with some room to spare.
