This type of vertebral column gives the musician much greater playing flexibility, as the resultant elesticity zone is very large. The palette is the zone where the air waves are propgated with the greatest range. From the tip, the waves are absorbed firther in the JAVA reed.

My son is rather picky when it comes to the sound on his alto saxophone. I have bought several different brands and materials for him to try but he always comes back to these for the sound he likes. I have no complaints, he sounds great and it is much more affordable than some he wanted to try.

These Reeds are exceptional! They offer a perfect balance of strength and flexibility, providing a smooth, rich tone with every note. The reeds are consistent, durable, and easy to play, making them ideal for both beginners and advanced players. I’ve noticed better response and control, especially in the lower registers, and they last longer than many other brands I’ve tried. Highly recommend these reeds for anyone looking for reliable, high-quality options for their tenor saxophone!

I’m sure they are a great reed just a little too hard for my daughter who is only in her second year of band, she doesn’t like them, but my guess is they are a little too high quality for a beginner.

These have been my reeds of choice for over 25 years! Depending on my mouthpiece, I use a 2.5 or 3. They have a nice response once theyre really broken in and for me they add a nice edge and body to the sound. They are a little expensive though. Once in a while you can find a great deal and thats the best time to grab them!

My daughter is a sax player of 6 months, Jr she has prior music experience so is pretty advanced. As she progressed the reeds changed in hardness. This reed seems to work well for her for now, as she is in the jazz band and this is a “jazz reed.” She has found several good ones in the box that she likes and alternates them. She hasn’t had to shave any yet.
