I like this neck strap because it’s very solid feeling on the instrument. I did have one instance in which the retaining hook twisted just perfectly to release the horn so I would suggest always keeping a bit of tension on that strap. otherwise it is a great investment. and I do not feel one instance of the hook coming loose is enough to take away a star.

This strap is comfortable at the neck. The only thing I don't like about it is the hook. The way the hook is designed, it is a pain to get put it on and off the saxophone. It's not good if you double and change between saxes or other instruments during a show. It is designed like a curved hook. You have to look down at the hook ring when putting it on and taking it off and the design actually slows down the time it takes to do this. I would have much preferred a straight hook since I change instruments a lot during shows.

I hate the giant Vandoren V, but I've never had an issue with the strap. No twisting, no locking up, portable size, metal hook, no stretching, and more comfortable on my neck. I couldn't go back to a different kind of strap.

Very good neck strap with an ingenious clip-hook and easy length adjustment. But I find the thick neck strap uncomfortable on my neck for playing after an hour. It excels on gigs with quick changes or spot performances.

Beautifully European crafted. So comfortable that it's truly a pleasure. The "V" slider is a bit stiff on sliding for now, but I'm sure with time the clutch will break in and become more free sliding. So happy with this upgrade.
