I've got Yakima racks on my truck cap and use these with the keel over kit from Yakima and it works great with all my ladders

I own a large utility truck with a rack for carrying several ladders. Ratchet straps are just inconvenient enough that I wanted to look around for something simpler. You couldn't find something more simple than these! I use them to hold a variety of ladders including large and heavy extension ladders, and these straps have demonstrated perfect reliability even with heavy ladders in the rain and wind. Strapping my ladders to my truck used to take a few minutes, but with these straps it only takes a few seconds.

When securing a ladder to Thule Aero bars, the male and female areas of the velco do not line up properly.Great design if the sizing worked for my uses
