The gaskets and unit were sized on the money correctly.My vehicle (Infiniti i35) had been experiencing an ongoing problem with the previous solenoid in thatit was making a rattling noise, almost like it was being deprived of oil, and after installing this part, resolved issue promptly. Good part!

So far the actual solenoid is working fine but it causes bad leaks due to the fact that the stock ones are dimpled by the oil passages. These are just flat. Anyway my old gaskets sealed the leak a month later. Glad I kept them.

Gaskets are not dippled like they should be so they will leak, dorman makes just the gaskets for about 5 bucks. Grabbed those and no leaks so far. I replaced both for P0011 on a nissan quest 3.5 and it fixed the problem. was fairly easy to diagnose if you have a better than normal code reader. my intake cam was showing 45 degrees all the time before the new solenoids, both cam parameter should be similar or opposite of each other and usually hover around 0-5. I had to drive the car some with the P0011 and it killed the bank 1 cat P0420, so you'll want to fix this really fast, even though it runs. hopefully these will last awhile i got 180k out of the oem ones. Update 8-17-23 at 4,141 miles later, hard start, misfire, p0021 this time. solenoid connector is now moving and cam is stuck at 40 degrees, with sensor plugged in or removed. electrical connector is moving side to side within the unit. Just outside 30 days...

replaced these right after they were delivered, car started right upp0011 & p0021 codes gonesadly i noticed my valve cover gasket was leaking oil wich caused the oil pressure to build rather slowly after i started driving my car again, i was sputtering and losing power and my car even lost power and stalled out on me as i was turning so i took it to a mechanic, on the drive there i noticed my cars condition got better and the mechanic says the part fixed it but now the gasket leak mixed with my fuel pump going bad is my main issuelong story short these are excellent and well worth the money, highly recommend you buy

I received these really quickly for my Nissan truck as I was getting codes showing an issue. They were both so easy to install. The drivers side took maybe five minutes. The passenger side was a little more difficult and the manual told me I’d have to remove so many parts to access to replace, However, I was able to replace without removing anything and the fit is perfect. Cleared up codes immediately.
