works fantastic with my new ceramic pot set. Wish I had changed to induction way sooner!

Seems to work well. No issues.Feels a bit slow to boil water, but I’m used to a gas stove.

This was an experiment with induction cooking. I really like it! Most of these 120V units are 1500 watts which I find under powered. I can boil 1 litre of water on my ceramic cooktop in under 8 minutes. Using that same pot on the induction burner took 10 minutes. However I am still very pleased with this unit.

I immediately liked the overall surface this product. It's generously very wide and polished glasslike nonstick and very smooth, making it a breeze to keep immaculate just by wiping with wet washclothes. My skills are not too elaborate so for me about the most I need to worry about is occasional spaghetti sauce spatter or similar, and everything just wipes off with no need for scrubbing or scraping or steel wool like when splattered spots get hard & crusty on metal oventop surfaces or grills etc etc...I think the controls could be a little better but they do work satisfactory as-is. The intervals between the preset temperatures seems a little awkward and not in a simple straightforward binary ascending/descending increment of 10, 15, 20 degrees etc like you may guess it would be. Instead it has preset temps at for example (partial list:) 518 464 428 392 356, where you press + or - buttons to up or down scale. Why are those temperatures like that instead of in 10 or 20 degree increments like most other induction element products I've owned ? I don't know. So far it hasn't been an issue for my personal use, but as they say, YMMV - "your mileage may vary" , in case this matters to you.I'm going to buy another one of these in the not too distant future because I really do like the design, the surface, the overall look of this device. And yes if you don't mind the peculiar temperature presets issue, the product itself is extremely powerful and when working correctly, has that special blend of performance look and feel of having like a pro grade restaurant class level device right in your own household. I've gotten nice feedback comments about it from guests, visitors, etc. It's a handsome addition to your setup, you don't need to have any concerns about it that regard at least, that's for sure.I'm sorry to conclude this by saying that despite everything you've read up to this point, I was both surprised and absolutely SHOCKED when, after a little more than 6-7 mos of daily moderate not very demanding use the right side LED controls stopped working. I never figured out if it was due to that the burner element had somehow malfunctioned or if it was a right side LED controls issue exclusively, all I know is that it just stopped working altogether. It wouldn't turn on. No LED response to pushing any of the buttons. So far it's only been limited to just that one side. I've yet to look into possible warranty coverage options etc so I cant comment further in that regard. So my rating is 3 stars not because I consider the product "average" or "so-so". It really works well, and it's a gorgeous attractive enhancement within your kitchen or wherever you need to use it, since a great advantage of this is that it's portable, so long as you understand that being a 4000 watt appliance the odds are that where you take to plug it in will only be enough to use one side at a time - you can't use both sides at same time on normal standard 110 A/C Outlet or it will trip your electrical wiring circuit breaker (it does mine, but I'm getting mine upgraded soon, for this & other similar devices).Since I don't know absolutely the cause or the overall prevalence of the particular mysterious issue I personally experienced I'm not going to say the product in general is bad or a mistake to buy. It could very well be the case, my issue is a rare and isolated circumstance, and I hope to get it resolved soon.As I said earlier, when everything is working right, it's a really good cooktop to work with. I just wish the temperature increments were more to my liking... ............... hope this helps ................ 😎😎

I gave this item a try for about 2 weeks and during the two weeks the results weren't as good as other reviewers. It seems like the burner is about 5 inches where the markings on the glass top seem to indicate a bigger pan could be used. the first thing that seemed odd was the advertised 2000 watts on each burner at 15A, the math doesnt work out for 120 volts. when you do the WATTS math, that only gets you to 1800W. but that point aside, it also seem to pulsate at the sear temp of 510+. it would cook something, then some drop off would occur and the items i was cooking would stop sizzling. and thats with only one burner on.With two burners on, it seemed worse. Thirdly, only smaller pans worked, a 5 inch heated better than a 8-10 inch pan. all advertising seem to indicate 8-10 inch pots or pans would work. maybe i got a dud, all over reviewers seemed to have been luckier than me. so i am submitting it back to amazon for a refund. maybe i'll try another brand. All in All, this wasnt worth it for me, never got it to work right with different size pans.

We bought this double-burner induction hot plate to cut down on our outrageous propane bills. The burners heat up quickly and work so much better than our gas stovetop. I use a basic cooktop cleaner to wipe it down and it works great. Zero complaints, fair price. I definitely recommend it!

I bought the product because I have a glass top stove that is the pain of my existence to keep clean and looking like new. I tried my hot plate last night for the first time. It boiled my water fast and I cooked ground meat quickly for my spaghetti sauce. My sauce continued to bubble at a high simmer on the lowest heat setting. I wish the temperature could be lowered to a very low simmer. A keep warm feature would be nice too. I have the product on my kitchen island. I can face the open room unlike I can when I cook on my regular stove. The on/off switches are very sensitive to the touch. It seemed like i was just hovering over the on/off switch and it came on. Since I know how touchy it is, I know to unplug the product as soon as I am finished cooking.Overall, I like the product. It has a modern sleek black design and fits very well with my other black appliances.I did have to get new induction cookware. I tested every pan that I had and not one did a magnet stick to the bottom.

We live in a ski resort hotel room that was converted into employee housing so unfortunately we don't have a kitchen. We've tried walmart stove top burners and usually end up with one burner which takes about 1 hour or more to make sandwiches. This induction burner makes it feel like we have an actual kitchen. We can make coffee and breakfast at the same time in under an hour. We were really skeptical about the price but decided to take a chance. We are so glad we did! I recommend this to everyone who lives in employee housing just because it's also really safe to use. As soon as you take your pan off the burner, it shuts off. You can also lock the buttons themselves in case you have children around or want more counter space. It heats up instantly and has so many options to use. It takes some getting use to but eventually it'll be hard to go back to a normal stove top burner. We highly recommend this product!! BUY IT!!!
