DIY replacement of 20 year old installation. Each took less than 15 minuted to replaced. Hopefully, I'm good for another 20+ years.

I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. I bought two of these Valemo VDM30-180 Damper Actuators to replace my 12 year old DuroZone RM-MB 35139 zone damper actuators. Shipping was very fast (I ordered Wednesday night, and they arrived Saturday morning), and both items were new and in perfect condition. Installation instructions are included. This was an easy DIY task - you don't need to pay an HVAC contractor to do this.Installation was very easy (it only took a couple of minutes for each). These are an exact replacement for the 35139. In summary, on the old part, there are two small metal clamps that hold the motor assembly to the drive link assembly. Simply pry each clamp slightly, and gently pull the motor assembly away from the drive link assembly (you will reuse the original drive link assembly - it is not included). Disconnect the wires from the old part (take note of the wire colors and terminal numbers). Connect the wires to your new part and gently guide the motor assembly back into place on the existing drive link assembly until both clamps click. Done. (See instructions for full details).As reported by another reviewer, this actuator is smoother and quieter than the original when opening and closing. I trust I'll get more than the 12 years my original actuators lasted. Thanks Valemo.

This was a replacement for a failed damper motor. It was a direct replacement and was easy to install and has been working well for months now. I actually had replaced another one with one of these and it is still working fine and it has been at least a couple of years now.

Nice fit. Came with instructions, which is novel these days. I like the addition of the open / close LED. Makes troubleshooting easier.It is also much faster and smoother than the original motor.This unit is powered in both directions and has a 180deg stroke. My original unit was powered for open and close but instead of rotating one way for open and returning for close, it continued in a circular path for close.Over this is a better design than the original.Also the original had 5 wiring terminals where this one only has 4. My application only used terminals 1,2 and 4
