I was looking for a holster mount that doesn’t require me drilling into my truck or work van.I bought this hoping that it would be the right tool.I love this thing, I love how close my Glock is to my leg, and how easy it is to keep it concealed. The only problem I have is that the end piece that a holster clips onto is over 2” and almost every holster is made for a belt 2” or smaller. I’ve tried a few different holsters but nothing actually clips around the end piece. Because of this, drawing the freedom seed dispenser requires one hand to hold the holster and one to draw.

Details: PA licensed to CCW, 2013 Dodge Charger w/cloth seats, G19 with generic/universal holsterInstallation: Really Easy - as in it shouldn't be this easy to install a vehicle handgun mounting system, but it really was. There are options to secure the mount via the included velcro/bungees/zip-tie, but none were needed. The tension from the cloth seat and the contact points to the car keeps the mount from moving around. If you don't strap down the mount to the car, a really hard pull may pull the mount up, but it won't completely disconnect from the seat. Use whichever holster you decide, but if you have one that can adjust the cant, then you're golden!Overall Thoughts: I hate making things difficult. Screwing into the floor or dash is not something I was willing to do. So, when I found this mount, I thought, "Why not?". Seriously, I am ecstatic I did! It exceeds my expectations on features, customization, and design! I can easily draw my G19 from the holster - even with a generic clip-on holster. Once I get my adjustable kydex holster, I'll be able to adjust the cant on it and have an even better draw.You can adjust how permanently you want it secured to your car, how visible you want your firearm with the adjustable riser, and ultimately, how easy you want to holster/draw your firearm. And, the company even thought ahead and designed the device with future holstering options in mind.If you're looking for a vehicle mount/holster option that keeps your firearm close without the need to permanently alter your car, then try this system from Highway Holster!

I was skeptical that this would fit in my vw gti with bucket seats but I gave it a shot and I'm glad that I did. This is a great way to mount a weapon without having to drill holes in my new car! It is also easy to install and remove if I ever need to remove it.I found the included instructions easy to follow. The mount is secure after velcroing it and using the included bungee cords. There is *some* flex due to the plastic construction that doesn't bother me much but I do notice - my heavy USP Compact does wobble a bit while holstered but I am confident that it's not going to fall or move significantly. This flex also includes the bottom supporting brace. I think it is adequate in its current form but I wouldn't mind 2 metal rods down the length to support the plastic skeleton. That may be an improvement for future iterations.If your holster's clip doesn't fit or seem secure as other commenters have pointed out, grab a file and file down the mounting point (including the highway holster emblem). It worked for me and now my holster doesn't move on the mount unless I want it to. The clip is fully engaged on the mounting point now - it was not secure out of the packaging. The mount point seems too thick but I'm unsure if my clip is standard.All in all this is a great product for those who want an in-vehicle holster solution but don't want to drill or damage their vehicle. I think some minor strengthening of its construction for heavier handguns would improve it to be 5 stars.
