In another lifetime, I was an IV user and was essentially devasculating myself very slowly and used a light like this to find veins. And LED flashlights at the convenience store counter for $3.99. And flashlight at the dollar tree. No difference, so save your money and just make sure that you buy one that is cool to the touch and very bright (500 lumens+) because it sucks to be burned, especially when anticipating a shot: that’s a double whammy I wish for no one.
