Larger than expected. Good quality for the price. It'll work for an assassin cosplay. I like it can be peace tied for Ren faires.

Wish it would of been sharpened but I took care of that. The balance is almost perfect and fits great in my hands.

Very medieval knife.I like it.Very cool. But I must mention it is not sharp, it is not pointy? I think it is used more as a prop, but I believe you can sharpen it.

The knife itself is a good price for a replica-quality weapon and the dagger itself seems to be of a decent quality. The main problem is the chain attached to the sheath. The chain does not hold up under pressure at all; when I attached it to the belt, the chain broke a few minutes after moving around. I would recommend using a sword frog for the sheath instead of using the included chain if you are using it as part of a costume.

Awesome little fantasy dagger, but let's be realistic folks:You can't use this as a throwing knifeYou can't cut branches with this knifeYou could slay someone with this knife, but the blade would probably break off after the first kill, especially if you landed in boneThe chain will not keep this attached to a belt or anything else for that matter, even a wall- it is very cheap qualityIf you plan on doing any of these things, spend more than $8 dollars on a knife. This thing is really cool though. It reminds me of (and is probably a ripoff of) Mehrunes Razor from Skyrim- but it is not a replica by any means. The sheath is mostly if not all plastic but feels sturdy and rigid. The blade seems very sturdy as well, especially for a blade that is not full tang. Full tang means the blade and the handle are one solid piece. The dagger came very sharp for me. I give this nifty little thing 5 stars simply for the price, I would have expected worse for $7.95 or whatever it was. TOTALLY worth the money for aesthetics alone, get it.

I'm gonna say that this was a pretty good prop dagger. I bought it as a prop for the cover of a book, and while it technically isn't a real dagger in terms of sharpness and quality, it looks very nice in the pictures that I took. It's not all that sharp, but I still wouldn't recommend getting too reckless with it because it is sharp and pointy enough to cause damage if you aren't careful. Like you don't have to worry about slicing your hand open if you touch the edge of the blade, but I definitely would not run with it or pretend to stab anyone with it. Pretty much, whatever you are going to use this blade for, use your common sense and don't get too crazy with it.Again, the quality of the dagger is good and it has a nice, heavy feel to it when you hold it in your hand. The steel is very shiny, though as others have said, there is an imprint of the word 'China' on one side of the blade, but as long as you aren't looking too closely at it—or if you are using it as a photo prop and flip it over to the other side—it really isn't that noticeable or visible at all. My only real complaint about this dagger is that when I pulled it out of the box, that little metal tip on the sheath did fall off. It was a fairly easy fix though, and after I pressed it back onto the sheath it stayed on and hasn't fallen off since. It would be nice if it hadn't come of, but for the price of the dagger and considering that it was an easy fix, I can't complain too much. Overall, it is a great prop and it perfectly served its purpose of making my future book cover look awesome!

I opened it up and as soon as I took it out of the box the bottom metal part of the sheath fell off. But no big deal I just glued back on I only bought to hang it on my wall. The thing is AWESOME as far as looks go for only a few bucks this baby is wicked sweeeet. If your looking for a knife to use don't buy this it would fall to pieces the first ten minutes of use. The sheath is really nice the chain looks a little cheap and the black part is plastic but who could tell you know. The knife itself (at least for mine) feels really firm and has a nice edge. The hilt looks cool but it feels delicate. Anyway I LOVE IT for the price its great. So buy it love it but don't use it.
