Just what I was looking for! I've tried many different (often cheaper) magazine files and they tip easily or have openings on the side that catch things as I try to slide them in. These are stable and I love that they're open on the front so I can slide things (for us: homeschool books) in and out without needing space above to get them over a lip.

I'll admit it. I never met a magazine I could throw away. So all the bookshelves in my library have magazine holders on top with the magazines (mostly cooking, but some Rock and Roll) from the last 30 years. So I'm always on the lookout for a good magazine holder, because it needs to be pretty sturdy to hold a big old collection of Martha Stewart Livings and Rolling Stone mags. These totally fit the bill. I chose to get them in clear, because I like the cover designs of magazines to be visible, but there are other choices (white, I think) if you don't want to have your collection that visible. But thinking on it, you could also put 3-ring binders in here because these clear plastic mag holders are big enough and sturdy enough for that. Or if you still have phone books, that would work too. There are little rubber feet on the bottom, so they do have a storage preference, but you could also put file folders in them if you don't care about them sliding a bit. I'm very impressed with the quality of these, and can't wait to fill them with the rest of my collection which is still in boxes, waiting for more shelves to be delivered to my new house. I believe magazine covers are the great unsung artworks of the 20th (and 21st) century, so I love how my clear magazine holders let them shine out. A+ items, well-packaged in shipping to avoid scratching/breakage. Very happy I ordered.

I needed some file folders to hold magazines and sticker books upright on our shelves, and this did the trick! They are neat, clean and tidy looking, and a good size. Just exactly what I expected. The edges are not sharp. If you store them the wrong way (ask my kids how we know), the sides can get a little warped with having pressure on them sideways, but if you care for them they will stay nice.

Works great. Allows me to keep my cyber schooled kids folders separate but organized. Easy to use. Looks great. Sturdy, work great on book shelf.

They work well and helps me keep things organized. Being that they are clear they work in any color scheme if that's something you would worry about. It also helps to see my labels on the front of files.

I was impressed when I received these organizers because there's zero wobble (even if empty) and the plastic is thick enough that it looks high end and I don't have to worry about it breaking.I use them when I empty my backpack to keep my laptop organizer, notebooks, folders, binders, etc., organized for doing coursework. I couldn't be happier.

I ordered the clear version of this pair, but it looks like the listing now only features the pair of white holders. Still, I am overall very happy with these. They are slightly flexible but don't seem brittle or crack at all. They come with stoppers on the bottom for grip. They're currently listed at $22 for a pair (plus a 5% coupon); I still think $10 a unit is a little high for these, but if they're the look you want and don't mind that price point, you'll be happy with their functionality.
