This is the third stool we’ve purchased. We keep one in the mud room, one in the garage and one on the second floor. They are easy to grasp and carry where needed. The base locks in place upon being stepped or sat on, so it feels very safe. I’ve used them while hanging curtains, cleaning air vents, reaching high shelves, and they are great to sit on when “quick” projects become longer and require sitting. They would make great housewarming gifts, particularly for first-time homebuyers. Great value.

This little stool is so sturdy, and well made. It’s the perfect size as a seat as well as a step stool, and extremely secure footing, and, when unweighted, rolls away with a slight push. Recommended!

The top step is a fair amount taller than my previous step stool like this and while I can use it and it might be handier in certain situations, getting up on it is a bit of a balance effort. I'm firmly into senior citizen territory and this might be dangerous. I'm a pretty tall woman, too, at 5'8". Seems study and I like the shiny red finish.

I don't usually write reviews which I should since I make purchases from reading them.. I Just got the second one for my closet. Love them! Tallest one I can find. Very sturdy and I am no light weight (200++). I will eventually get a 3rd one for upstairs. If you are looking for something like this you won't be disappointed.

This is what I have wanted in my kitchen since I've had a kitchen. Throughout the day I kick this thing to wherever I need it, and it's fantastic. It actually is pretty cute in the red (its a good red) and its not too industrial-looking. This instantly became part of the kitchen, I leave it out all the time. I love not getting out/putting back my folding stool 10x a day (or risk leaving it out to maximize my toe-stubbing incidents). The easy-to-spot red, and round/no leg design has yielded zero toe injuries so far.Its very sturdy and secure. Putting it together is just a matter of snapping the top to the bottom.

Very sturdy and well-designed. Stool's weight might be a problem for somebody to carry who is frail and/or in poor health. Wide base makes it stable. Any weight put on it pushes the wheels up so stool won't move. The rubber gasket at the bottom protects floors. Gasket is showing some wear but is still intact. The 17" (43cm) height is not so low to the ground that somebody would have difficulty standing back up. If a person does get down on the floor, the stool's stability is very helpful in having something to put one's weight on as they get back up. When I weighed almost 300 lbs (136k) I was comfortable using it. The stool's two steps make the item more versatile. I don't stand on top step but use a ladder due to poor balance. The lower step is generally high enough for my needs. I have owned two stools (red and yellow) since 2012 and am very happy with them. I would buy again.

What is particularly nice about this unit, is it height - it's about 4 inches (10 cm) higher than most rolling steps and this makes this really nice. It's still very stable, and has a solid construction. It rolls very smoothly, and does not damage the floor as the rollers are rubber based. They seem to be very solid so I anticipate this will last some time. I have had it now for about 5 months and it literally gets kicked around the room a lot!!! Nice bright red color with what appears to be a pretty decent paint job.
