I selected this black denim button down jeans skirt to review... Immediately, I was pleasantly surprised regarding the QUALITY of this SKIRT! All seams are double stitched (in addition to the standard French seams on the front, back, around hips, and pockets), the button holes all line up & are satin stitched, and a surprise feature to me was the sturdy metal coat-style zipper on the inside of the elongated button fly- preventing big gaping holes from forming between the buttons! YAY! The first thing I did was wash this up on warm gentle, and tumble dried on low (I always prewash even though there were no weird chemical smells), the skirt came through perfectly! No color fading or transfers, no "wrinkle scars" from shipping, and the fringe hem stayed put! No thread pulls or hem loss! This is partially because they stitched around the fringe hem - providing fabric stability so it won't unravel further; also, the fringe is very thick & full, keeping a tension going so that it won't pull or grow. This skirt does have a comfortable 2-way stretch, making it cozy, no matter the time of day (bloating, etc.). It was very comfortable across my thighs and hips, I actually felt attractive as it was a flattering fit! I will say this denim skirt is true to size. This is a classic design that can easily be dressed up or worn to a casual event, or even done up sporty- really this skirt could be used for countless styles! I especially liked the pockets- I could trust what I placed in them to still be there when I reach for it again (phone, lip gloss & chap stick, tissues, etc); I didn't end up with weird bulges because I had items in pockets. 👍 Overall, I highly recommend this button down jeans skirt: *HIGH QUALITY! *DURABLE! *COMFORTABLE! *VERSATILE! *CLASSIC STYLE (long lasting fashion) ='s 5 stars!

I sized down on this skirt based on some other reviews, but wish I hadn't. I could tell right away it wasn't going to fit. I can get it on, but it's way too tight & not in a flattering way. Maybe if you are on the edge of a smaller size you could size down, but I feel like sizing is accurate US sizes. Otherwise, this skirt is so cute it is probably worth going on a diet! I live the pink color and the fringe. It has functional front and back pockets. It buttons down, but has an odd long zipper under the buttons. I think maybe it is designed that way so if you are sitting the buttons don't pucker and show too much? The zipper isn't visible when it is buttoned. So, in spite of it not fitting, I give 5 stars because I think it would be very flattering in the right size. I may order another one, in the event my diet is unsuccessful...it would be worth it to have this in my wardrobe. Length is good for work or those of us who are past our mini skirt phase of life.

I was not expecting to like this Vetinee Jean Skirts for Women as much as I do. So often, cotton blends are too thick, too stiff which inhibit movement and comfort, or have an undesirable feel to it against your skin. This skirt has surprised me in the design, construction and features. Excellent pocket placement in the back and at the hipline. The numerous buttons down the front allow for a few different wear options, AND there is an extra long (surprise)zipper that also runs the length of the skirt. Keeps it all secure. I did have a bit of trouble initially with the zipper being a tough pull, but it's simply a matter of finessing it and does not take away from how cute this skirt is. The funky feature is the raw edge hem...I wasn't sure about it, but it's soft and comfortable and really cute. The silhouette is slightly pegged or tapered, so it gives a more feminine appearance and is flattering. I am 5'5" and the hem length hits me right above the knees, and I do have a long waist, so the fit is spot on and I would say that size chart is as well. There is a nice amount of Elastane in the fabric content which helps the skirt to move with you and hold it's shape, I selected the color white, and this is not a thick fabric, so nude colored undergarments will be crucial. I am telling you now that the white color has a thinner fabric, which is both a plus and a challenge. I would assume that the black or denim options do not have this issue. For warm months, this will be a fabulous skirt! For traveling, this is a great skirt, as it rolls up to a small size and takes up little room in your suitcase. I am super happy with this selection, and am simply taking off a single star because it's a bit see through. 4 STARS!
