Took a week extra to receive the second package. Put it together and several of the bolts were rusty. Did work fine after assembly. Guess I'll just replace the bolts.

Item came in two separate shipments. I panicked thinking I had misread the product description. A quick note to the vendor eased my fear and that an additional box was coming.Packages came with all hardware and tools for assembly. Instructions are included but are not very detailed. However, assembly is fairly straight forward and intuitive.Once assembled and connected to 220 power [verify should you need an adapter] it had more than adequate power and suction. Previous wet/dry vac [2" hose] could not keep up with my 14" bandsaw. This product completely evacuate the saw of any debris.

Setting up a new workshop and wanted proper, ducted dust collection. I’ve never had a “real“ dust collector before just an assortment of shopvacs and small 1 machine Wen wall mount collector. I was prepared to spend some real money on this item, and in fact, hesitated to buy this Because of how relatively cheap it is. Now I’ve had it for a few months and I’m very happy. Surprisingly great suction through roughly 30 feet of snaplock ducting and flex hose. The mobile metal frame that it comes on is totally fine, but the whole point for me was to get it ducted, fixed, and out-of-the-way , so I mounted it to the wall. Plan to get a larger dust collection bin eventually, but other than being on the small side, the included one works really well. It’s true the instructions are pretty limited, but it’s not complicated… honestly, if you can’t figure this out despite the classic, just-barely-translated from Chinese instruction sheet, you probably don’t need to be in the market for a dust collector.Only real drawback is that it’s designed with a magnetic switch. So difficult to set up any kind of auto start/remote control options out of the box. I wanted remote control/auto start option and went with the iVac switch. Probably would’ve been more ideal to get a replacement contactor/magnetic switch, but for variety reasons – – all my fault – – I ended up crossing my fingers and simply bypassing the built-in magnetic switch.( I realize I am running a risk of burning out the 220v IVAC pro switch with High start up currents, and theoretically the fan motor, but so far so good. I’m sure bypassing the contactor also introduces at least a theoretical risk of overheating/fire hazard, so make your own choices… But I only use it under direct direct line of sight for relatively short periods of time so I’m cool with that theoretical risk. Since it would be basically useless to me without a remote switch option, and this was ultimately the only feature that tempted me to spend 2-3x more, decided to roll the dice and so far very happy I did. )

An immediate improvement in dust collection! My jointer-planer machine's manual recommended a 1000 CFM capacity, and after running some boards through the planer, this 2hp cyclone system delivers the goods! It also isn't too loud, is a reasonable size, and rolls easily. It does fill up fairly quick, but almost nothing goes past the cyclone to the second stage; I'll probably come up with a larger can to mount below the cyclone to collect the wood chips and sawdust (is even collecting the fine dust I thought would go to the second stage!). So far this really capable and reasonably priced dust collector is turning out to be a fantastic choice for my home shop.

The product stopped working within 9 months with less than 40 hours on the motor. They would not honor the warranty. Tried to give a low ball figure to replace a metric engine. It didn't come close to covering the cost. They wasted more time in an attempt to reach the one year date (when the warranty ended). As if that would absolve them of any liability or responsibility. The wouldn't process a return or pay for the return shipping. Amazon was no help either -- they just sent useless messages to the merchant. They certainly didn't make it right for their customer. If I could give negative stars, I would.

If you are shopping for a vacuum system for your woodshop, then you probably already have sticker shock. But honestly this vacuum system is pretty good for the price. It shipped in two separate shipments; the heavy part was well packaged in a wooden crate. The filter and dust bin came in typical cardboard packaging. This resulted in a small dent in the dust bin but otherwise everything arrived in good condition. The assembly was pretty simple, which is good because the instructions are terrible. The unit has great suction and is not as loud as my old Grizzly system. The separator works perfectly. My biggest grip is the size of the bin, it needs to be about 3x as big. Otherwise, I am very pleased with my purchase. Could I have spent a lot more and got a Laguna or a Jet system, sure - but why?

Don't usually write reviews but had to on this one. The Vevor isn't pretty but...it just works! I've had the unit for 2 months now and am completely satisfied. I'm still building out my shop and my dust collection is not optimized yet. It's a mix of 4" flex and ridged with way too many droops in the flex to be as efficient as it will be. That said, the Vevor keeps up with my CNC router through about 50' of duct. It's also much quieter than I was expecting...measures 73dB on Iphone app. While your milage may very anyone looking for a good dust collector should consider this one.Really wish American companies would compete at this price point, really hate sending my money overseas but this unit is half the price for the same performance. And what's going to fail...if the motor dies in several years I can replace it with a Dayton or Baldor and still be ahead.Edit...March 2024. Not quite 2 years old and still going strong. Used almost every weekend and runs constantly. For the price this thing can't be beat and I still recommend the unit.
