If you’re installing it yourself make sure that the wires are properly connected. Had to reconnect the wires since I did it wrong the first time and it wasn’t heating properly. Overall, this cooktop is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to upgrade their kitchen with advanced cooking technology and a streamlined look. A friend of mine his a island with a 1960s stove top in it and it was falling apart. so I volunteered to help her out so I could save her some money and get her something safe. I seen this one and it was really close to the size she needed. I installed it in about an hour and it works really good. She is in love with it and said she likes that you can lock it so the pets won't turn it on.The Price is good and really well made plus the low profile black top looks really nice

I installed the cooktop myself and got the electrical connections WRONG the first time. I was disappointed that the burners did not get red hot, but this was MY FAULT. The wires on the unit are marked but the wires in my wall/box were different than expected. For anyone reading this, be sure to research proper wiring connections before installing. Reconnecting the wires properly allowed for immediate heating and HOT burners. Things I love are the easy to use control panel and easy cleanup. Just dropped it into place, wired it up (twice in my case), and got to cooking on a sleek, well designed cooktop.

I don't like the gap around the edge. I am considering what I may be able to find to close off the gap. My last stove top was flush with the counter so no crumbs or food could get in. I haven't had a chance to use it much so time will tell how well it works. The directions are easy to understand and figure out. It does look amazing.

I was skeptical of this stove top, especially at an extremely inexpensive price. I will be honest, I have been pleasantly surprised.It was very simple to install, and it is very easy to use.IMHO, it gets very hot and is definitely comparable to our old Whirlpool stove top.I cannot comment on the longevity of the stove top since I have only owned it for 3–4 weeks. But I can say it works and it works good.

Not a bad stovetop. I use a lot of heavy skillets so naturally, it doesnt get as hot, but I think this is common with electric stovetops. Would recommend caulking around the top to avoid over-spills if boiling foods like rice or spaghetti. Otherwise, the water will likely drain underneath. It was pretty easy to install. For the price, it gets the job done. I would recommend it!
