I'm very impressed with this little welder. It seems to be able to do everything I need it to do. I'm not a professional welder nor do I see myself using it on big projects that require hours of constant use. That's not what it seems to be intended for. I think that's what seperates this from the larger, more expensive units - the duty cycle. If you just need to have a welder in your back pocket for small projects or quick repairs, I think you'd be pleased with this one!

Now, if you’re a professional welder you’re definitely going to yawn at this thing but let me tell you the portability of this thing is worth having in your arsenal alone. It feels pretty stout and does the job. But as a light weight machine, it’s perfect for someone starting off. (Newbie approved!) don’t expect this thing to do a 1200$ machines job. But do expect it to work.

Really didn’t expect this to work as well as it does. I bought an adapter to fit my 50 amp receptacle and the 220 v adapter that came with the welder. I didn’t want to change out any 110 v recepts yet. The welder came with everything shown on the page and was well packaged. Settings are not hard to figure out. I was welding in 3 minutes. Had to turn the amps down a lot to keep from burning through light square tubing. Machine never got hot, and the ground clamp and the stinger were just fine. Awesome little machine for $65.

This welder works amazing. I was looking fo an inexpensive stick welder and I came across the vevor stick/plastic welder on sale . For the price I paid I wasn't expecting much but I was shocked at how well this little machine performs stick welds and the fact that it has a plastic welder built in ( that also works great) is the cherry on top. This thing paid for itself in 1 repair. I had not heard of vevor products before purchasing this welder but after some research it looks like they have an extensive product line. With the fantastic price/quality of this welder I would certainly recommend and purchase other products from vevor in the future .

I used this a few times and like it for hot staples.Pulled it out today and tried stick welding. The 160 amp unit continuously trips my breakers, both on 15 & 20 Amp circuits.The company responded to my complaint by stating that the unit requires a "63 Amp circuit breaker" to function. Obviously, that is absurd.Don't expect customer service from Vevor. Save your money or purchase the Amazon warranty.I now have $80 unit for the garbage man.
