This machine is stellar! We recommend it to everyone. It assembles easily and clean up is a breeze! Our homemade ice cream is so much better than store bought and so much healthier too. We control the ingredients. Homemade vanilla ice cream made with vanilla paste is so good. It is not that loud either!

I eagerly anticipated the arrival of this product for an extended period. I had been eagerly anticipating its delivery and had meticulously prepared all the necessary ingredients. However, despite my efforts, the product failed to get cold . Subsequently, Amazon took an unreasonable three months to process and refund my money.(I must’ve had at least $25 worth of ingredients that got wasted trying to use this thing as well.)

I have always wanted a compressor-based ice cream maker, but at a few hundred dollars (and upwards), I could never justify the expense. When this machine popped up on sale during the holidays, I decided to give it a try. My expectations were not really high, so I was pleasantly surprised to find it easy to use and unbelievably fast. We have made quite a few batches of ice cream to test it out, and every one was creamy and delicious. We’ve tried both simple and more complicated recipes, and the results have been consistently yummy. The machine is seems sturdy and powerful; I love that it has an upright profile, so it doesn’t take up a lot of space. It is also quieter than most of my other kitchen appliances. A full quart of ice cream takes under an hour from pouring in all the ingredients to the finished product. The included directions are not great, but the YouTube videos on this exact brand and model were most helpful. This was a fantastic value and an amazing purchase… very glad I took a chance on it!

Christmas present for a dear friend. She shopped and said get me this one for Christmas. I did. Her family loved the ice cream. I hadn't had homemade ice cream in 60 years - it tasted like the ice cream when I was a kid.

Bought this as a Christmas present. We decided to give it a try. As others have noted, the manual is borderline useless. It's clearly translated (apparently by a first year ESL 8 year old). There is a YouTube video that's helpful but doesn't appear to be affiliated with the manufacturer.We followed the directions to the best of our ability, set the harness and hit the go button. Mixer wouldn't mix. Decided to try and take it from the top. Same result so we decided to let it run and see if maybe it'd mix later in the cycle. Nope. No mixing. Cycle completed but it never got cold.This thing sat under the tree for a week and a half so the refrigerant needing to settle isn't a factor. Clearly some have had good results. We weren't that fortunate. For some, it might be worth a $200 gamble. For us, we'll spend a little more for a more reputable brand.

Fast shipping and item just as described. This is one of the best purchases I've made this year. Works great but the included ice cream recipes need to be tweaked for best outcome.
