Bought this hoist to hold a portable 15 gallon gas tank. Works perfect and the remote is a must.Highly recommended

The Simplego company shipped the hoist to me within just a couple of days. Which was nice. Problem was that I wasn't even able to test the hoist yet because it was missing the two brackets shown in one of the pictures. The other picture shows the housing on the winch that was also missing a screw. I am assuming that the distribution brain of the company is in China because I played email exchange with them with a day going buy before the next communication. They asked me for everything you could imagine of which I sent them photographs of everything. When they asked in another email for a number that was clearly pictured in an earlier email, I really felt the run-around they were giving me. After email number 16 when they told me it as going to be another two weeks before I could get those simple missing brackets, I put the brakes on and returned the winch for a refund. One thing that I did learn about this unwired, remote control version was that on the control itself, the battery compartment is held in place by multiple screws and uses two AAA batteries. In my hot garage, I could only imagine those leaking, damaging the control and making the hoist unusable. I have opted to use a different company to purchase the wired, controller version and once I receive that I will give a review. I hope the Vevor winch works better than the distribution company that I dealt with.

I ordered a few of these and had to send them back. I thought I try it again because the 800 lb wench worked like a charm. Since Amazon is very good and works to keep their customers satisfied I will never give up on the company.
