I ordered this to power up one of my son's power wheel toys. When I received the item, I noticed the connector wasn't the right one for the vehicle we had. It was my fault for not properly checking, and I was thinking of making some modifications anyways, so I kept it. I cut off the end connection (the blue part) and attached a motor speed controller and then connected it to my son's car. Everything worked great! Because I had added a motor speed controller, I was able to adjust how fast my son's car went. I also like that it came with extra fuses in case one goes bad, but so far so good.

Too great for me, actually. Ha! So I got it and cut it into my daughter's Barbie Jeep. Testing it, the battery slid in and snapped into place perfectly. The simplest battery upgrade I could recommend. However, this is 100% recommended for the 12+ volt systems where there is 2 motors on the rear tires, one on each side. My daughters Jeep was a 6v with one motor on one side. So yes, I put a 20v battery into a 6v system. The amount of power and torque off that one motor made her Jeep do a perpetual donut. As the side w/o the motor attached can't spin fast enough with that huge increase in power! And there's no gradual throttle, it's on or it's off.. all or nothing. So it works AWESOME. I love this thing and started looking for 12v Jeeps to put this into. It is super easy to install and the amount of power difference and the ease of charging makes it an awesome change for your kids electric setups. This would likely work on any of the electric cars as long as there are two motors so you don't end up just doing high-speed circles the whole time.

I was given an old Peg-Perego John Deere for my son. The included 12 volt battery was dead, and I could either buy another one for about $50 or try one of these out.I already have a bunch of Dewalt batteries on hand and it was very easy to install this. I ended up running the power cables up to the top of the hood in front of the passenger seat and mounted the battery holder there. I'm not sure that was the best place, but it is convenient to swap and my son can easily push the button to see how much charge is left. The extra voltage really makes the machine go. Yeah, it might burn through the motor a little faster, but it makes it a ton of fun.

It's so nice to be able to plug in my DeWalt batteries into my daughter's car and not have to worry about taking out the original battery which is not light, nor small. I had some difficulty putting on the small grey connector, but it's my first time using one of these spring loaded connectors and I didn't bother looking up how to make it easier and save some hassle. The convenience of this definitely helps to simplify the use of the 12v car I have connected it to

These are great to breath new life into your kid's power wheel. Mine made the forward/reverse controls backwards initially, whoever soldered this did it to the wrong terminals I guess. I cut and spliced the wires, and that solved the issue. Fits my 20v dewalt batteries fine, and definitely makes their gator significantly faster. It's probably not good for the motor, but whatever. Battery life was about 10-15 minutes with near constant use, definitely shorter than with the stock battery, but it takes just a few seconds to pop a new one in and the dewalts charge a lot faster than the big one that came with it. I would have given it 5 stars if mine didn't have to be rewired.
