Your cart is empty. The American Classic 5B has long been one of the world’s most popular drumstick models. The American Classic line combines tradition and Vic Firth style. With bold designs, the Classics are turned from select hickory - a dense wood with little flex for a more pronounced sound. Hickory is also capable of withstanding a great deal of shock, making it highly durable. The tips are deeply back-cut for intensified cymbal response.

My drumstick of choice, primarily playing rock/metal. It's worth paying more for these over the cheaper sticks you can find on Amazon because the wood is dense and gives the stick a comfortable weight and increased durability. I like how the black ones look more but in my experience the color finish changes the texture of the stick and causes them to slip when my hands get sweaty. The difference between 5B and 5A is barely noticeable but to me the Bs feel slightly bigger and it fits in my hand better for it.

These are the exact sticks I use and they didn’t seem to be warped, cracked or have any blemishes. The price was very good compared to buying one pair of sticks. Would recommend.
