new in the box product and the acetylene gauge doesn't work. there is no return on this item which i don't understand?

It works so far, but the quality sure has dropped since the last regulator I bought. The gauges are chintzy plastic and the stickers are peeling. Maybe these things have no effect on function, but to me they're indicative of overall quality.

I saw one of the bad reviews said that his Victor regulator was a fake, that he pulled the Victor sticker back on the regulator and saw a RANDOR sticker underneath. That's true. I did some checking as soon as I saw that review because I just bought a set of those regulators. Come to find out AirAsia owns Victor and RANDOR trade marks and they are both made in the same plant. They just put different labels on the same product. All kind of businesses do the same thing. I know first hand. I was a bread salesman for 3 years for Flowers Bakery and a cooler worker for Meadow Gold Dairies for 2 years in Gadsden, AL. Meadow Gold would run all their different milks 1%,2%, skim milk and whole milk all with Meadow Gold labels and change the labels over to each individual stores private label and mark it down. Flowers Baking did the exact same thing accept for the natures own wheat bread and that stayed with Flowers label on it. My Piggly Wiggly stores would pay .08 cents per unit on all private label bread and rolls and mark it up to .89 cents each. Where the same bread, the round top old fashioned the store paid .87 cents and marked it $1.09 and the square sandwich loaf the store paid .95 cents and sold it for $1.19 a unit. See so many companies make the same products that the sell but put all kinds of different brand labels on them. Even tool making companies that make craftsman tools also make greatneck and Snap-On tools among others. I hope yawl get the idea but do research yourself especially with things that could kill you or others. Don't skimp trying to save a few dollars on things that are dangerous ! I hope yawl read this and it helps you. Now I'm not saying you won't have any problems with things you buy, just be careful and send things back at the first sign of trouble !! Don't wait to try them out either !

Victor gages are the best in my opinion and they are reasonable priced for their quality.

Item just as seller described. Installed it on my acetylene tank, checked for leaks and started using it right away. Can't beat Victor products.

A scratch on one dial is annoying but I don't want to wait for a replacement.
