I tried the regular mouse trap for these critters...didn't catch them. Tried glue taps...never caught a single one. Tried these - they were easy to set and had deep holding area for the peanut butter I use - except for the couple of times the mice were too light to detect - these traps caught all of them eventually! And reusable after a cleaning...very nice product!

Seemed like a good idea, but I think it catches more customers than mice. Easy to set, but not easy to make it hair trigger. The best way I found was to stand a almond or nut of some kind in the pot (a drop of superglue to hold it in place) would help trip it when the mice struggled with the nut. Even then it was not highly effective. Peanut butter was only a free meal for them. The diving board water trap has proven the most reliable.

I had been using the old Victor wood/brass mouse traps, which work, but this design is much better. It is easier to set, easier to monitor if it has been activated, easier to release dead mouse, and plastic is more durable. Truly the better mouse trap. Highly recommended compared to the old wood traps.

Easy to set! No snapped fingers! Our small mice just sat on it and ate the bait without triggering the mechanism. It worked fine for adult mice.

This product has been exactly what I needed - effective and simple. I love that the traps are reusable. It's a bonus that 6 traps come in the set. Their easy set and release design definitely makes things convenient. Plus, the Victor brand quality is evident. All things considered, I'm highly satisfied with these mouse traps.

I kept seeing signs of a mouse, but my mousetraps never caught any. These traps do the job. They are easy to bait and set, and swiftly dispatch the mouse with a quick snap. The mice do not seem to have any time to suffer; death is instantaneous right after their choice of their last meal.They do not catch the mouse EVERY time -- I had to rebait the trap a couple of times when the mouse managed to eat the peanut butter bait without setting off the trap. But overall, very effective. I caught six mice. If you are squeamish about seeing the dead mouse and extricating it from the trap, you will have a problem with these. However, the type of traps that catch a mouse without you having to see the dead mousie weren't effective, so what's the point?
