Brief introduction, followed by images of Victorian lettering. You will need to know how to hand stitch if looking to use the designs, as this is just that a reference book of Victorian designs. I like it as the images are clear enough to apply to real life work.

The book has some beautiful alphabets and I'm excited to get to the level where I can recreate them. Well organized. Lots of variety.

This book is not for the beginner. There are many different alphabet styles from simple to complex. We sent our wedding invitations wrapped in antique hankerchiefs and I used this book to embroider the ladies initials on them.

こんな本が欲しかったの～！と届いて開いた途端思いました。本のタイトルにあるとおり、アルファベットの図案がたくさん載っています。デザインの種類も多いし、アルファベットがほとんど全てで載っているのが私にはうれしかったです。白黒の図案で、刺し方など詳しいことは書いていないので、初心者には向かないかもしれませんが（私も初心者）一冊持っていれば、名前、イニシャルなどの刺繍をしたいと思った時、ステキな作品を作ることが出来ると思います。
