The prop came with the hub so it's as simple as removing the old prop and installing the new prop. Did get an extra 4 mph compared to the old 10 3/4 X 12" Pitch prop.

Says it’s the same size and pitch as my factory one on a 98 mercury 60 horse. I’ve had it out twice since installing and gained roughly 5mph. I didn’t buy it for more speed purposes just bought because I tore my factory one up on something in the river but the boat tops out 5mph faster or I can now run about 1,000 rpm less and keep my same old top speed.

This prop was perfect for my 50 merc setup. I had tried a 10 1/4x12 and a 10 1/4 x 13 with unsatisfactory results. This 10 1/2x12 lit the boat up. Excellent hole shot and increased top speed by 1.5 mph and put my rpm right at 5500! The rake on the prop is ideal and the prop is of great quality. Being a marine mechanic was surprised at the quality and the perfect sizing. Thanks again

Bought 2 of these to use on a rental boat in stump and rock infested waters. It had a 1996 Mercury 60 hp 13 spline motor on it. I removed the owners prop and installed this one as a sacrifice. The prop damage fee on the rental boat is 175.00. You can see where I'm going with this. An original Merc prop is 150.00 in my area. I bought 2 of the Jason Marine props for less than either a new Merc prop or the damage fee at the rental shop . I rent this boat each year for our vacation and figure the law of averages will catch up with me sooner or later and I'll tear up a prop.These props are very well made, packaged well and fit the application like a glove. They don't appear to be as heavy a gauge of metal as the OEM, but I had no problems with then for our fishing trip. Gps shows the same speed as the OEM prop for both of these. Same pitch and diameter as original. Hubs spin true, no vibration, and the press in washer fits the retainer tab perfect. Did some hard fishing and it still looks new.I don't see how you could go wrong with this prop.

Let’s start with why four-star and not five. Upon installation of this propeller, I noticed the alloy is not as hard as the original black max that I replaced. Which might mean this propeller may wear out faster. On the plus side, extremely easy installation fit like a glove. Took my boat out and test drove it, found the propeller to be correct pitch and true balance. Clocked my boat at a +5 mile an hour Faster than the old prop when trimmed out. All in all, I’m pretty happy with this propeller, would recommend.
