In a world of constant, unending change and unrelenting catastrophe, there comes a time when we must ask ourselves what we stand for. What are we willing to stake our lives on? What are the value systems that can absorb the shock of an ever-changing geopolitical landscape, but do not give way? In the absence of an answer to these questions, there is always the deadening force of capitalist acquisition. In this case, a bake knob. I guess it's a bake knob. It seems to work.

Same weight, colour, crisp graphics, size, fitting, etc. as original Viking knob. Installed recently but I'd bet it's just as durable, too

On the back side of the dial there is a hole with one flat side that slides onto the post on the front of the stove. This dial has the flat side on the wrong side of the hole. As a result the numbers are not lined up properly - it shows the 350* temperature where the Off indicator should be.Viking is not worth the cost. We have been very disappointed in the performance of our Viking stove and with all of the replacement and repair parts we have had to purchase.I do not recommend anything from Viking.

The markings are slightly different but that may be due to the age of my grill. Otherwise it fit well and looks good.
