Really liked this lens at first, but found myself in many higher contrast scenarios where the chromatic aberration was just too noticeable. If you are just doing portraits or street photos it may not be as noticeable, but if you do landscape, nature, or Astro photography, you will see purple fringing around stars, backlit leaves, and other bright-to-dark areas.Overall the lens is fine and if you are not planning on doing shots where that would be an issue, it is a really good deal. I just found that for what I needed, it was too much and will be going with a different prime lens down the road

Lente pazzesca. Mai avuto una lente con questa nitidezza anche a tutta apertura. Incredibile visto il prezzo.Poi uno pensa ad ottiche simili che costano il triplo. Questa è un best buy. Anche il 27 che ho preso qualche tempo fa è uguale.

I have had three instances of the Fuji XF 23mm f/1.4 and I keep selling them.Finally tried the Viltrox 23mm f/1.4 and it's better in every way that I care about. Shorter focus distance, faster to focus, lighter, with better microcontrast wide open so that it's just a bit "moody" instead of seeming so flat.The Fuji 23mm f/1.4 was the sort of lens you try to talk yourself into liking despite what your gut is telling you. The Viltrox is the kind of lens you just like, even when you know you're not *supposed* to like it as much because it's not made by Fuji.Love this lens.

Forte dalla bellissima esperienza con il 23mm 1.4 per fuji, ho acquistato ad occhi chiusi questo 35mm per Sony. Beh che dire una delusione, ottica sicuramente difettosa, la ghiera dei diaframmi al movimento faceva rumore tipo di strofinamento ma quello era la cosa meno peggiore. Gli scatti totalmente poco nitidi e sfalsati nel lato destro del frame anche a diaframmi abbastanza chiusi. Fatto reso e rimborso. Ho optato per il sigma

I bought this as I have been really enjoying using my Viltrox lenses for the X-mount. I have this one, the 33 and the 56mm.85mm is a great portrait focal length, on APS-C it is about 127mm, which is a little short of 135mm, but still gets the job done. I have been buying Viltrox products for years and never had any issues with them and this lens works great!

This is a great lens for a great price. I’m finding out that I have it on my Fuji Xt 3 Almost all of the time. Focusing as fast and reliable and secretes great images.

greatest bang for a buck lens available for the fuji-x system! the lens is sharp (center at f/1.4. sharp even in low light and produces some really delicious bokeh. at f/1.4 there is heavy vignetting, but what do you expect at f/1.4? the details and contrast produce is just sow beautiful! and the biggest win is that it has a very good AF! Its far from perfect, but it WORKS!Cliff Notes:- Under $400- Autofocus- SHARP!!!- F/1.4-BUY IT!
