The screen broke on this second one as well.It needs to be redesigned.I’m looking for another fob that will work with the system or I will have to buy a whole new system. COST IS ISSUE FOR ME.

Great item. Easy to program and very durable. They charge you $200 for a new remote and to program it at the car shops. This is so worth getting for the price. Just YouTube how to program it to your car.

The original remotes that came with my alarm were always being set off in my pocket. I eventually put a lock on them so whenever they were pressed they made an annoying chirp instead of starting my truck. After two of them had been dropped and broken I decided to disregard the counsel from the installer and see if Viper made another remote for my alarm system. I was repeatedly told if I wanted a different remote I would have to upgrade the system. I found this remote and for the cost I decided to take a chance. It was very easy to configure and I love it. No more remote start and I can easily program how I want the remote to work. Like I said I wish I would have questioned them earlier then I would not have replaced my broken remote with the same original model, twice.

The replacement was simple to install. Just be sure to remove the original pager from the vehicle while pairing with the vehicle. The new pager works exactly like the original, and has a very good range (up to a half mile). It was delivered very promptly after purchase.
