So overall this pouch is super sturdy and built well, with that being said though it has a few issues. The three pockets for knives/lights/pens on the front of the pouch are all but useless because they're flat stitched right to the face of the pouch and they have to push into the pouch to fit anulything in them. It would've been better to give those pouches a little extra fabric to give them a bit of room so you're not taking up space in the rest of it. Also the two outside pockets that are to the left and right of the middle knife pocket are too small in width to fit basically anything more than a vic pen. I couldn't even get a sharpie to fit in either of them. Overall I like this pouch a lot, but I decided to return it and order it's sister the the VE-16 instead. It has only two pockets on the front however they are larger and look much more useful.

I use this pretty much daily whether it’s in my bag or in my pocket. It holds my Gerber multi tool, pen, flashlight, as well as an emergency credit card, and mini pry bar. No complaints and having the small loops is great since I added a paracord handle to it for ease of access when it’s in my ems cargo pocket.

I use this in my backpack since I don’t like to have a million things on my person. This organizes everything well and materials are good. Zippers are good and I haven’t had any issues.

What's good? The hook & loop fields, the flexibility in organization.What it need to be great?Colors other than black, a 270 wrap around main zipper, an extra 1/4" of width so a thicker pen can be stashed next to a stack of index cards in the main outer pocket. And, a lighter weight fabric.

Comes exactly as the pictures, perfect sized pouch for an EDC. Fits average sized phone/ with small case down the centre. Inside pocket space would fit a passport with a little wiggle room, outer side pockets barely fit an average size fountain pen ( couldn’t fit my pelican 1920 pen light ) and front/ back will fit most average folding knives!

One of the most practical , multi use, small organizers I have found anywhere, the quality to me even surpasses many Maxpedition products I own. I use mine to organize my cross body. It holds my Leatherman Rebar, Tanner Titanium Toothpick, Olight mini pen, back up Rat Fink ( Ganzo ) pocket knife. All that is using just the exterior pockets provided. In the zipper pocket, I was able to get several dollars in change easily. In the big zipper pocket I was able to fit my small personal first aid kit ( using thin products and flat packets, bandages, alcohol wipes, ibuprofen, Tylenol, antibacterial triple antibiotic packets, gauze etc… and I am also able to fit a few small charge cords with ease. All this and I haven’t even touched any of the outer Molly webbing which is actually functional and could be used in many ways. My only slight complaint is the outer field notes pocket. It will fit my field notes but very tight, hard to get in and out which damages my notes each and ever time it’s deployed so I will replace with a small, thin spiral topped notebook. Overall I would give this 10 stars if I could.

This iteration of the Viperade VE series pouches moves the pouch zipper to the side, adding a pretty decent amount of extra usable space to the storage. This is the big selling factor and why I bought it, and it delivers on that promise! This is absolutely an upgrade to the VE series, which was already a prime contender for best in the EDC pocket pouch market.Unfortunately, this is only available with the three-pocket configuration on the front instead of the two-pocket from the VE3 pouch, which means I can barely fit my flashlight into the front, and it takes some effort to get it out. I expect we'll receive a two pocket variation soon, but it's still annoying for now. I might cut out some of the stitching.The addition of the back pocket and coin pouch are appreciated, but note that if you're using this as a pocket pouch, anything in the back pocket will be lumpy and stick into your leg. Reserve it for something thin like a prybar. For this reason, I hope future iterations remove the coin pouch in favor of making the back pocket extend across the whole back, fitting wide flat things like thin notebooks or minimalist wallets, which won't impact the lumpiness. I also don't think the back should be velcro, and for the same reason - anything you attach there will be lumpy on your leg and make your day uncomfortable.Overall this is a great pouch with minor caveats, and I would recommend it to anyone trying to sort out their pocket clutter or carry more useful things around.
