Silly me, I did not realize these were for vinyl fence posts only. Good thing I had an alternative place for them. They fit well and I had no issues with installation.

These fence post caps are designed for 4" x 4" vinyl posts, not 3.5" x 3.5" wood posts. On wood posts, they leave a noticeable 1" gap, making them look oversized. Despite this, the caps have a fine finish and a sleek appearance. They seem strongly durable and weather-resistant, reducing concerns about cracking or corrosion for at least four years.
