Outstanding monocular. I have an 8-12X zoom one that is just junk ($80 junk). It's plastic and very light. The 8X is too hard for me to hold steady and since it's a zoom one, the field of view is very narrow.This Vixen monocular has a good heft and feels like it has a metal barrel and feels like glass lenses.Being 6X, the field of view is very good and it works well with my glasses.I'm very pleased with the build quality, nice sheath, and long lanyard.

単眼鏡でEDガラスレンズを使っているのはこの製品だけとの謳い文句と、店頭で実物を見て、他機種と全く違う視野の広さと明るさ、一眼カメラで撮った写真を見ているような高画質な画像は感銘を受けてAmazonで購入しました。レンズの品質は最高峰だと思います。惜しむらくは、外装のかなりの部分に劣化が気になるゴムが使われていることです。これだけの高級機種ならば、劣化しないような素材を使って欲しかった…。

I bought this for my wife's upcoming cruise. I tested out a few other monocular mostly very budget friendly ones. None comes close to Vixen Altes when it comes to clarity and smoothness of the nobs. No problem with identifying birds or small games over 100 yards. It's very easy to zoom and focus as well. Also, the scope is very tiny and light to carry in a purse or just hang it on the neck.

Bought for backyard birding. I must say that I have several monoculars and binoculars, this Vixen 6x21 Artes is simply superb. Fit and finish is wonderful, perfect grip, clearest lenses that equal any brand. This has become my favorite.

This could well be the best little optic that Vixen have ever produced. If you try 3 or 4 others, and then try the Vixen, you will understand why: super clear image from edge to edge. Yes, it isn't cheap and yes, it isn't waterproof - but it is the best. If you get the chance, try one and see for yourself before you buy.

接眼部の中心と目玉の中心がずれると見えないのは仕方無いのでしょうが、その許容範囲が余りに狭く目の位置をずらさないように支える方に気が行ってしまい、被写体を見るのは、後回しになる感じ、高倍率でもないのにこの使い勝手には失望しました。

ニコンを使っていたのですが、家族に譲ったのでこちらを購入してみました。ひとみ径も大きく明るく見えます。30メートル先ぐらいでしたら像ボケもなく隅までよく見えます。あまり詳しくありませんが、シロウト目線では光学性能は100点に近いです。本当に綺麗に見えます。星4個の理由は・ボディーのラバー加工→経年の加水分解が心配・ケースが嵩張り使い勝手が悪い・保護キャップが取り外し式で無くしそうの3点が気になりました。少し大きめですが、ネックストラップもあるし持ち運び自体は簡易です。
