The battery indicator on my 2004 Polaris Sportsman 400 would start flashing as soon as RPM's got above 2500. Checked the voltage at the battery while revving and found 18 volts, which is too high.Replaced the voltage regulator with this unit.Voltage is now 14 and no more flashing battery indicator.
