Returned. They aren’t for hand sewing. They aren’t sharp. The lack of “point” makes them more useful for crewel or needlepoint.

Love the storage tubes for keeping sizes separate! The needles are great for embroidery and crewel work, as I use multiple weight threads for my quilting projects. Having the separate storage tubes makes finding the right size quick and easy. I wish there were different color stoppers to facilitate recognition of sizes.

Everything is getting more expensive so getting a few more months out of jeans or a hoodie is always nice. With 250 needles to a box (I ordered 2) I now have a lifetime supply. The eyes are nice and large so threading is easy and thicker thread is possible. I made some sewing kits with these needles Altoid tins and flat cardboard as bobbins

It is hard to find needles that are not thick as a nail with eyes large enough for embroidery thread. Some of these needles are thicker then I like but as a whole I am glad I bought them.
