This food warming mat is perfect when hosting people over so you can keep food warm after it's made or while it's being served. The tan colour is nice, the simple touch buttons are easy to use and it can fit a decent number of dishes. Overall I'm happy with it and use it along with another to keep everything hot.

The heating mat is reasonably well made and looks nice. There are three heat options which is pretty basic. There are silicone feet on the underside which help keep the mat from the surface. It heats up right away but not very fast up to temperature. I had the setting on high and expected the surface to be very hot to the touch which was not the case. The testing dish lost over 60 degrees in about 2 hours. That should not be the case on the high temperature setting at 212 F. When I removed the mat after use, the surface underneath was very hot to the touch. It almost felt like the main heat was pointed downward. The surface was still hot when checking half an hour later. They do recommend using a heat resistant mat to prevent damage but the silicone feet were supposed to prevent damage. Overall, the mat is usable, but it doesn't keep food as warm as desired.

I saw this product all over social media and decided to buy it during a prime day event. Iโm so glad I did! It really is great. We used it for both Thanksgiving and Christmas and it was wonderful. We got so many people asking whatโs that! I love that it rolls up for storage and doesnโt take up much space. It wipes off easily and we donโt have issues with food sticking. The only complaint is I wish it was bigger. It only held 2 casserole dishes which was only about 1/4 of the dishes we needed to keep warm.

This is a fantastic addition to anyone's table if they are into hosting dinners or friendly gatherings. I've seen others like this that are more like a mat. Almost like a heating pad. This is different. This is silicone all over and REALLY HEAVY silicone to boot. There is a series of "legs" that keep this off the table to stop it from burning and the smooth top is study to support pretty much any heavy pot you can lay on it.This has three settings, 60, 80, and 100C so it gets HOT. That's the only thing to be really careful about. You could easily burn yourself on the high setting. The challenge is, when it's on your dining room table you aren't thinking that something that is that hot is just sitting on your table. When you are near a stove, you instinctively know it's probable hot, but not your dining room table. :)As for how it works, it's super easy... and it really does keep your hot dishes hot. It heats reasonably fast and cools at about the same rate.I absolutely love this though... we used it last night to keep dinner rolls and the lovely dinner my wife made warm and it worked PERFECT. The only thing I'd offer warning on is the heat. We kept it at 60C but I would be worried that a finished wood top table that's been waxed may not fare to well at higher temps. While it's lifted off the table with the small feet... it still radiates a ton of heat from below. Probably suggest a dishcloth underneath to give it some extra space.Top notch product for sure.

I didn't even know this kind of thing existed! So, I can't write about how it compares to others like it, but I CAN say that I'm really impressed with it.It's bigger than I was expecting. It has 3 heat settings. It takes a little while to heat up. I put a small pot with a little water in it, to see if on the highest setting if it would boil the water, since the highest setting is supposed to be 100 degrees...after about 20 minutes it had the little bubbles at the bottom of the pot, so it WAS warming up. I don't know if it ever would have come to a boil if I left it on there, I didn't want to leave it on for a super long time.I had some concerns about accidental burns, so I did some research on temperatures required for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree burns. Apparently, at 100 degrees Celsius, a first degree would happen after prolonged contact. I didn't test it lol. It's definitely hot on the highest temperature, definitely take precautions to not accidentally touch it, and I wouldn't leave it unattended around kids or pets. It doesn't look like something that would be hot. It's designed to roll up and stow away in a bag when not in use, which is really cool. So it won't take up much space in the cupboard, and easy to take with you when going somewhere. The only thing I wish that was different is that it would have been nice to have 2 straps instead of one, so that it keeps it's shape better when rolled up. Because there's only one strap, it goes in the middle, and then the ends unroll a bit and the overall shape is a bit like a bowtie. It would be easier to get it in the bag if it stayed cylindrical.

I keep this on my counter and when I make breakfast in the morning, I place plates on it to keep them warm. Our children are older, so people are constantly coming and going. We do not have a master schedule for our family. Everyone's on their own schedule. This item helps me cook once but feed everybody on their own schedule. I also use it when we have guests to keep dishes warm for a buffet. When cooking pancakes, I placed the dish of pancakes onto the warming mat and placed the bottle of syrup on the warming mat when making chicken strips I placed the bowl of cooked chicken on the warming mat and a bowl of dipping sauce on the warming mat, everybody loves it

I bought this to keep food warm during a holiday party, and Iโm so glad I gave it a chance! I inherited a hot plate from my mom thatโs probably from the 70s, so Iโm basing my comparison on that. Firstly, I donโt feel like this one is going to burn down my house ๐
. It fits more and larger pots, and I really like that the w tire surface heated up, not just certain zones. And it rolls up for easy storage!

I absolutely love this warming mat. I used it over the holidays when entertaining and it was so perfect to keep our food warm. Iโve used it for bread fermentation as well which has been fabulous. Easy to store as it rolls up. Must have for anyone who entertains!

I love that this folds up for storage. We used it for Thanksgiving and it did not disappoint. It gets hot quickly and is suspended a nice amount from the countertop so it doesnโt make the counter hot. It feels like a quality construction and I plan to use it for many years and events ahead

I bought this product and a lower end product of the same design. The quality is far better, the thickness of silicon and the height from table to heating elements. Works great! We are using for catering events versus sternos. Had 3 plugged in at the same time. Best Buy ever

The first time I used the warming tray, I was making peanut butter balls. If you make candies dipped in chocolate, you know it is important to keep it warm . After melting it in a double boiler. I placed it in the mat. Worked great.

This silicone warming mat has an evenly spaced heating element that produces a uniformly warm surface over the entire heated section of the mat. The heated section is about 52 by 36 centimetres. The silicone itself is pretty thick so it provides good protection against damage to the heating element. There are large silicone feet/bumps(?) on the underside to hold the mat raised above the counter surface by about 1 centimetre. While the lowest temperature setting might be okay for things that don't or shouldn't be heated much, I think the medium setting is adequate for most uses. The highest setting might be best when the ambient temperature is lower. You certainly can't rest your hand on the mat on the higher settings but maybe you could play a game of chicken on the low setting. A very short game. The mat has automatic shut-off after roughly three hours.Being silicone, the heating mat easily wipes clean with a damp cloth. It takes me more than one try to roll the mat up tightly enough to get it back in the included (extremely basic) storage bag. The feet on the underside and the slightly slippery silicone keep resisting my efforts. The rolled cylinder is 10 centimetres in diameter. The white storage bag has a drawstring and is made of a nonwoven polypropylene material reminiscent of landscape fabric. I doubt it will last long with use.According to the listing the colour of the mat draws "inspiration from the latest Morandi color palette, residing between Deep Cyan and Light Blue." In less absurd words, it is a slightly bluish grey. And, holy moly, I just looked at the listing again and they suggest using this thing to thaw meat. DON"T DO THAT.
