Low sided and the puck dragged but the mounting bracket bent inwards. When that bracket bent, it moved the puck closer to the bike's fairings and didn't even get the chance to do its job and protect the bike. Get something better that has a bar between the two mounting brackets for the sliders so they don't bend inwards.

Looks good on my gf ninja 300. It took a little time to install them, not quite plug and play. Also like all the comments above they didn't come with nuts. Other than that good product.

Awesome product. I installed these on a Ninja 300. As mentioned in other reviews, it comes with the bolts but the original nuts will not fit these bolts. They’re a different thread. You’re going to have to run out and grab some nuts! That said, install was pretty straight forward and I’m not exactly a mechanic! I was concerned about the strength of these vs a set that requires fairing cuts but these are definitely seem beefy enough to withstand a drop. Here’s hoping I never have to find out how they hold up to a drop or a slide but I think they look great on the bike anyway!

Soooo these were very tedious to put on. First of all, they don’t come with Nuts to tighten them. So what I did was get some Nylon Lock Nuts (10m 1.5mm) note this was a Ninja 300. I highly recommend. But you are gonna have to get washers for them. Or just find a flanged nut in those specs but I couldn’t find them so I did what I did. You have to make sure that the brackets are the farthest TOWARD the rear of the bike as you can slide them with the holes the bolts go in (it will make sense when you are doing it) or else they are literally a half of a centimeter off and will collide with the plastic vents on the fairings. It’s definitely a two person job. And warning… the spaces to put the bolts on are incredibly tight. Definitely gonna need a flex socket.. so TLDR. A lot more tedious/difficult than initially was anticipating but they are on and they look swell.

Super sturdy and rigid materials. Would be a 5 STAR review but the bolts did not have any nuts. I did not use the provided bolts to secure the bracket because of the missing nuts. I did use the OEM bolts but they are probably only about 1/4 secured to the nut.I'll probably grab my own nuts at a hardware store when I get around to it...if VORTEX sees this, please send me the missing nuts!
