This has three parts - the mount, and two screws. All the 1 star reviews from people who could not figure out how this works amazes me (or does it?). The mount itself is a simple piece of aluminum that is finished black (anodized?). The bends and cuts are well done with no sharp edges. there are two screws that hold it in place, very firmly. Here is the part that has confused simple minds. To mount it there is a small piece of double-sided tape to hold it in place while you screw it in so you don't need three hands to install it. The tape is just to hold it in place long enough to get the screws in, it's not there to hold it up permanently. The simple design is looks nice and works well and will hold your heavy (and expensive) headset and controllers safely. The quality of construction justifies the price.

Mounted this under my desk (laminate top) without issue, would highly recommend drilling pilot holes once the thing is stuck in place as it makes getting the screws in much easier. The Vive Pro is a little bit of a tight squeeze to get onto the hook, but once in place it fits perfectly and my Index controllers hang nicely on either side. The matte finish is very nice, only wish it came in black to match my desk frame.

Beautiful, well designed product. I have a Reverb G2 and it fits perfectly, hand controls and all. Only problem I have is I had to use the self stick tape for now because I have a steel desk, but they hold the G2 solidly for now. Self tapping screws will be in the works to finish mounting it and make it so it will never come loose.

I saw some negative reviews, complaining that the adhesive backing is not sticky enough to support the weight of a VR headset and two controllers all by itself.Well, yeah! Of course! The product page says so right there! The adhesive backing is *only* there to hold the hook in place long enough for you to secure it to the desk or shelf with the included screws.As someone who read the product description before they bought it, this item is exactly as described and provided a clean and convenient place for me to store my Valve Index and Knuckles controllers. It's exactly as described and for that, I give it full credit.

Looks great but I had to replace the tape on it. It just kept falling. It might work better if they add more tape to both sides past the screw holes. Since I wasn't using screws though I just covered it up. Looks nice and now it hold my index gear with no problems.Update: Kept falling had to add tape to both sides on top of the double sided tape to hold up the index. They need to extend how big the top lip is. Should prob be about the same size as the headset holder part sticks out. It tends to tilt backwards from the weight which applies forward stress and pulls the tape off.

I bought one of these so I could hang my Oculus Rift-S near my PC. There was a more expensive version of this rack that can mount to the wall but I saved myself some money and just bought this one and stuck 3M command strips on the back of it. Works great. There's enough room to hang the Rift-S, wrap the cable around behind it and hang the touch controllers. Very happy with it.
