Popped this new guy in about an hour with some help from YouTube and cleared the codes including rocker arm actuator stuck on. Check engine light went out and VSA issue ceased. So far so good.

Don't waste your time.I bought this to fix an oil leak.Fit my 2006 Pilot fine. Had a lot of VSA errors and occasional rough idle. I have a scan tool that I use to clear the error codes. It takes the cars' computers a while to adjust to the new VTEC solenoid so no rough idle occurs, but VSA errors continue. Cruise control won't work while VSA lights are on. I've read it's bad to drive with VSA lights on.I ended up reinstalling the original car VVT Solenoid with a new gasket and O ring, problem solved

So far Ive put about 300 miles into it with this new solenoid. I kept the old one and bought a oil pressure sensor to fix the old one for back up. I suggest you kept the old oem one and fix the oil pressure sensor on it to keep as back up just in case this one fails. Even it it fails you can still rebuild it and buy the oem oil pressure sensor for it and keep it. Switching it around shouldn’t be an issue. That way you have 2 in hand ready to go if one fails.

I had CEL P2647 which led me to replace the solenoid. The gasket felt poor quality and with reviews saying it leaks I instead used the $12 Dorman gasket with this solenoid. I cleared the CEL and it didnt come back on. After about driving 1,000 miles CEL 2646 came on indicating a faulty rocker arm actuator. I then replaced just the rocker arm on this new solenoid with the rocket arm from the old solenoid (replacing the gaskets on the old rocker arm). The gaskets on the rocker arm from this new solenoid were also poor quality.

Works perfectly with a 2005 Honda Odyssey Touring, I had ordered from another manufacture and the other VTEC solenoid had problems. The other would send the van into limp mode and no matter what was done it simply did not work. This VTEC solenoid works perfectly with no check engine lights or codes, make your purchase if your original Honda VTEC solenoid is leaking oil or giving you trouble this unit works perfectly!

Was a great value to replace OEM part for a 2006 Honda Odyssey van which showed this part as bad. Fit was exact but and the check engine light turned off. Only thing is there is a triangle light that comes on now but it doesn’t effect emission inspection at all.
