the tip is too sharp but you can just sand it down to where you want it so it doesn't poke through your fabric.

Works very well for scoring cardboard for professional folding line. Much stronger than I expected. It definitely will not break easily.

I am using this as a tool for finishing my counted cross stitch pieces. What a game changer when turning your project out! Easily confirms to your hand for effective use of smoothing seams and poking out corners!! Love this purchase even after just a few uses!!

This is a good product, and it does what it claims. The tip and edge, however, are very weak. If you use it like a normal bone folder it will splinter and become un-useable, So I would recommend getting a bone/plastic bone folder and using that for big folds, and only using the tip and slim edge of this sometimes. For example, when I do origami I use my bone folder to flatten a crease, but if I'm doing a small detail like an eye or ear I will use the edge/tip on the bamboo folder because its much smaller and more delicate.

The thin area around the tip has been chipping off after a few uses. Still works okay for some folding though.

I was skeptical at first because I didn't know if bamboo would be effective but I was willing to try as I have been impressed with other bamboo products. Well! It's my favorite tool!! The creases are perfect and with the shape it has dual purpose. It's great and multipurpose. Thank you.
