Bought for my mother's stove, as all of her "metal" covering was coming apart on all her knobs. Not sure these will last longer, but this solves her issue for now.

I will be returning this product. The model number of my stove (KFGG500ESS2) is listed as being compatible with this product but the knob was too small to fit on the post. Tomorrow I will be visiting my local appliance store to obtain the correct part.

If you own a KA gas range, you should know the rings worn out and get very sharp! I own 2 KA gas range (one for my old house one for my current house) they both have the same issue. I guess KA just comes with flaw design? After 3 years of heavy duty usage, i got a cut and the metal went inside my skin! Not that painful but annoying!These new rings have the exact design from the original knobs. So, my guess is the same flaw will happen only matter of time? But they do fit perfectly just like the original

I have a 900 series Kitchenaid gas range that is about 7-8 years old. My model was not on the compatibility list in this listing, but there were enough similar models that I decided to take a chance. Buying an original equipment knob was going to cost three times the price of this one. It is almost identical - no one would ever notice that it's a replacement unless they looked very closely. It's actually metal and nice and heavy. Better than I expected. I bought one knob each from two different suppliers here on amazon hoping one would fit. Both knobs are the same so we're using one and keeping the other for future need.
