Purchased this replacement for our Whirlpool fridge back in Oct. It didn't even make it to the new year before it quit working. It was very simple to install and relatively priced (why we purchased it). Company needs to resolve the short life span!

Light in 5 year old Whirlpool refrigerator flickering and one LED not working off and on. This LED replacement works great. When removing light housing put paper towel to protect finish then jam large screw driver between light housing and refrigerator ceiling - jerk down forcefully and edge will come loose then use fingers to pull housing free all the way around- it won’t break even if you’re rough with it.

It was a choice between this part or replacing the entire light panel in the refrigerator ($20 vs $90). We took a chance and bought this part. My husband watched the video on YouTube on how to install it and it was up and running within 10 minutes! It's brighter than the old lights (Darn, now I everyone can see that my refrigerator needs cleaning). Highly recommend this unit.

Purchased this in August 2024. Installation was straightforward. But now, December of 2024 and it has died. Looking at other reviews, it seems quality control is severely lacking.

Install was easy. They fit perfect. Pointless though because they lasted two months and I opened the fridge this morning and they were flickering. This evening I have no light at all.
