Never used 1 before till today. Was setting up some rubber worms ahead of time. It really is a must have tool for bass. I seem a video where 1 was used so knew what to do. What I didn't know was the taperd end unscrews to slip ring on and it also comes with a bunch of rings on it that I thought was just part of the looks, plus there are 2 of them so U can't beat the price.
