Walker's quality has definitely gone downhill the fit was okay the welding was absolutely terrible sloppy and a lot of splatter be careful bolting it in as you may find the splatter is exceptionally Sharp but it fits seals up and works well

The part is direct-fit. Unfortunately, it was poorly made. After it was installed, I noticed an occasional rattle from my vehicle. It got progressively worse over two years, making the car sound like a jalopy.After endless hours trying to diagnose (tearing apart door panels, replacing body panel clips, etc.), and money spent on a shop trying to diagnose, finally discovered the culprit.THIS!Inside the resonator are baffles. If they come loose, you get a rattle. The rattle only happens when (i) you're using the accelerator, so exhaust is flowing through, and (ii) you hit small bumps.Most of the time driving you use the accelerator... And most of the road has bumps. Making for a noisy ride.Maybe I got the only lemon - but buyer beware. Oh - and per Walker customer service - there's NO WARRANTY on resonators. That shows they're well aware of the "quality" of the parts they're selling.

Bought this and a muffler for my 2008 Subaru Forester to fix an exhaust leak I was experiencing. Car is much quieter now and I am pleased with the quality for the money.

Perfect fit for my 07 Forrester. Purchased with the walker donut gasket for the forward joint and the flat rear gasket for the muffler mating. Don’t forget to purchase your bolts too! I had this swapped out in about 20 minutes as luckily my existing bolts weren’t corroded as I had replaced the muffler and cat on either side last year. This was my last oem part to go. There is no discernible sound difference between this new part and the oem mid-pipe which had a flattened side resonator area.

Fit perfectly on my '06 Forester.....the front donut gasket is a real b to get in property but the rest lines up great......made the car very quiet.....be sure to get your real gasket, front donut gasket and spring bolts that you will need for assembly.

On a 2006 Impreza in Massachusetts, this has held up really well. The OEM mild steel exhaust would be showing rust by now, but this is still very clean. Didn't change the exhaust sound noticeably. UPDATE: After 5.5 years the hanger broke off - so it lasted half as long as OEM at a quarter the price. Not bad.
