This was a bolt on for a 03 Saturn Ion and a perfect fit. I also purchased the muffler assembly which fit right together with this part.You have to be able to get the Saturn Ion body up 18" on the driver side in order to work this over the axle. Even then it is a tight fit. That's the only ding I have on this otherwise well made part. If you have a lift to get the whole car off of the ground, this is not an issue.

WIsh it was stainless, They sell a stainless muffler but not a stainless pipe... OH well good enough... SEND IT

It fit perfectly on my 2004 Saturn Ion Quadcoupe, it is quiet while running. That is where the good ends. Every time I shut the car off this exhaust PINGS like mad. I know this is from expansion and contraction but I have been driving cars now for 27 years and have done ALOT of exhausts on the many cars I have owned. NEVER HAVE I HAD ONE PING AS BAD AS THIS DOES and it has been over 2 months and just over 2500 miles but the pinging still is obnoxious. It ONLY got three stars cause it was inexpensive and fit VERY WELL.

Works as expected and seems to have matched the OEM resonator on our old 2004 Saturn ION (RIP from hail storm).
