Got mine locally due to time constraints. Its heavy duty. Thick pipes walls and heavy in the hand. The local exhaust shop nodded appreciatively. I guess walker is an industry standard that most guys are really comfortable working with. I had been driving around with a straight pipe and enjoyed the sounds of an old 7.3 powerstroke with stage 2 injectors and an upgraded turbo (lots of whistle and whine). Sounded like a big dump truck. While it was kind of fun and appealed to my inner child (startled more than a few Janets and Becky's in convertibles or Todds and Chad's on bicycles) it was too loud for long commutes and wore out passngers fairly quickly. With a long road trip coming up I needed a solution quick. Local retailer had one in stock, everything else was 2-3 days away, the decision was easy. Honestly, Im quite happy with the results. It didnt change the sound much. It brought the volume down by 50% and smoothed it out the harsher sounds. It doesnt sound like a flowmaster under water or anything but the volume is down where it needs to be while the sound quality has improved.

Mainly got this to reduce exhaust temps in my 2007 Ram 2500 Cummins because of it's straight through design. It's a bit louder than I hoped it would be, but nothing obnoxious at all. The big test will be when we hook up our 5th wheel to it and pull a long grade under load to see if we can live with the extra noise or not. But my guess is it should be ok.
