Installation of this Walker muffler, new Walker pipe and resonator went well, it fits right in place. But I question the quality of these muffler parts, as you can see in the picture it was completely rotten after 2 years ... I tried to get help with the ''lifetime warranty'' these are supposed to have, and after several weeks/months of emails back and forth with the product maker and Amazon, sadly I always got stuck in a dead end, so I finally had to give up.I lost already to much energy and time trying to have this warranty honored. I had to repair the car and go on with my life so I bought better quality parts, hopefully with better service if ever needed.I can't beleive nowadays they still can advertise a ''lifetime warranty'' when it's completely false

The dimensions and the hanger attached to the muffler were exactly like the original OEM muffler. The important thing is to cut the front and rear pipes directly at the muffler welds that attach the pipes. As for the sound level, it might be ever-so-slightly louder than the original but it's so minimal as to not matter at all. Excellent product.

The original muffler on my 2011 Chevy Colorado had a small rust hole and was getting louder. While I had the bed off I put this muffler on hoping to quiet the truck down again. I am very disappointed with this muffler because it is louder than the factory muffler with a hole and drones inside the cab around 60mph. Will replace if I ever need to lift the bed off again.

Good Colorado replacement.........I agree with the other reviews.......I used it on a 2007 Colorado LT 4wd std. cab. The pipes where ok so I just used a small die grinder with a 3" cutoff wheel and cut the inlet and outlet pipes a close to the old muffler as close as possible. The new unit has 2" long couplings .......so with two 2-1/2" clamps and 3 new rubber hangers, the job went well. ( re-using old rubber hangers isn't worth the hassle.......so $106. total is better than a $350.+ cat back system. ( a little louder than OEM.....but OK)

Good muffler, works and fits as it should. While it is not a "performance" muffler, and it is not "loud" nor "throaty", it is not as quiet as the factory muffler was, you can hear this one. Used on my 06 4x4 crew cab 5 cylinder Chevy Colorado
