Pleasantly surprised on how well this works. Quite with headers and no drone.

I purchased this item to replace the muffler on a catback system that had way too much drone and was too loud. This replacement muffler is for a V8 engine but it works for my 13 Nissan Frontier with a 4.0 6 cylinder. It is quieter and still allows for good exhaust flow.

It’s stock quiet. And appears to actually be stainless. We’ll see how long it lasts

Product seems well made dimensions are accurate and it really quieted down the truck. From the outside you can still hear just a little bit of a rumble which is nice but it's quiet going up and down the neighborhood.

I assumed my muffler was broken inside and rattling it wasn't - I was too lazy to look and find the loose band clamp :)Moving right along I wanted a little more power from the work truck. (6.0 sierra denali) dyno sheets show strait pipe is maybe 8hp tops. These guys may be in the. 2-3 range. Slight back pressure actually increases low end tq.It isn't OEM quiet but its 30% smaller ... It has a deep low rumble and seems to get quiet under acceleration.. I Dont have much neg to comment on. For an OEM muffler style its not bad. Just keep in mind a lot of the dual inlet stock exhaust is also dual out to a y pipe. You'd have to refab a section to fit that.

I had a Gibson cat-back system on my 1996 Chevy K1500. The Gibson muffler rusted out in less than five years. The Gibson had a nice muscle car sound, but after five years I wanted something quieter. I opted for this muffler since it would fit onto the Gibson system w/o much modification. I installed this muffler myself and had a friend weld it up for me. This muffler is nice and quiet. My truck seems to actually have better low rpm torque with this muffler than the Gibson. At $62 shipped, this muffler was a very good deal. I'd recommend this product to a friend.
